But skillful managers can learn how to orchestrate these differences to create harmony—a work environment that attracts top talent, minimizes turnover, and maximizes company morale. On December 13, 2011, Pearson Partners International hosted the bimonthly DFW HR Roundtable to discuss the differences between each generation, identify what makes each generation tick, and learn practical tips for bridging the communication gap and enhancing communication. Our featured speaker was Sherri Elliott-Yeary, who is known as the “Generational Guru.”

PwC SMU Athletic Forum
Pearson Partners believes it is important to give back to our community, and encourages our principals to do so in their professional and personal lives. Sandy Boyce, a principal in our Dallas office, has served since 2010 on the board of directors of the PwC SMU Athletic Forum, a Dallas-based nonprofit sports luncheon series that supports athletic scholarships and operating initiatives at SMU (Southern Methodist University.) The Forum sponsors several community outreach events annually featuring the Forum’s award recipients and guest speakers. Sandy talked with us about the Forum and its vital role in the DFW community.
