A Message from Keith Pearson, President & CEO

If you live and work in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, you no doubt know your way around DFW International Airport. If you aren’t in a hurry to catch your plane, you might notice that a lot of improvements are underway. There are new parking garages with new technology to help you get in and out faster. Several gates and terminals are getting a significant makeover. And soon, you’ll start to see construction on a new international terminal.

The reason for these infrastructure investments—and many more improvements still to come—is that DFW Airport is benchmarking against the world’s finest airports and competing for international airlines’ business. DFW Airport already pumps more than $31 billion a year into the North Texas economy and is the fastest-growing airport in the United States. Now, it’s on its way to even bigger things.

Overseeing all of this is a huge job, so we were honored that Sean Donohue, DFW Airport’s chief executive officer, took time out to speak at our recent Spotlight SeriesSM breakfast. Mr. Donohue talked about the airport’s economic impact, its expansion of international service and improvements that are under way to make the airport experience better for travelers. A summary of our discussion is in this issue.

We are very excited to announce that we have joined IIC Partners, a world top 10 executive search organization with 49 offices in 33 countries. This further expansion of our global reach will help our firm and our clients greet the New Year stronger than ever.

We are grateful to you for another successful year. We wish you and yours a very happy holiday season and a healthy and prosperous New Year.

Quarterly Spotlight Series Breakfast:
The Economic Impact of DFW International Airport
Sean Donohue, Chief Executive Officer of DFW International Airport

North Texas couldn’t be a major global hub without Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. More than 63 million people flow through America’s third-busiest and fastest-growing airport each year. Millions come to do business in North Texas, and many more are international visitors who spend thousands of dollars here. As DFW Airport Chief Executive Officer Sean Donohue explained at our recent Spotlight Series breakfast, business is good at the 40-year-old airport—but a $3 billion investment in infrastructure, international service and customer experience aims to make it even more competitive.
