McKinsey and Company recently updated their 1997 study entitled The War for Talent. The update showed that 89% of those surveyed felt that it is more difficult to attract talented people now than it was three years ago, despite the economic slowdown and the end of the dotcom boom. A mere 14% of respondents strongly believe that their company attracts highly talented people.
