Pearson Partners International, Dallas Retained Executive Search Firm, Expands Board of Directors

DALLAS, TEXAS, September 26, 2006 - Pearson Partners International, Inc., a global retained executive search firm, is pleased to announce the addition of H. Michael Gleason and Daniel M. Jones to its Board of Directors.

H. Michael Gleason
Currently an Operating Partner at Behrman Capital, a leading private equity investment firm, Mike has had extensive operating experience in the Information Technology, Consulting and Services industries. Most recently, he was Group Executive/Corporate Vice President of the Global Purchasing Group of Electronic Data Systems (EDS) Corporation.

Previously, Mike was Group Executive/Corporate Vice President of the Management Consulting Services Group of EDS. In this capacity, he built a $250 million consulting business from scratch and then initiated its merger with AT Kearney, making EDS one of the top 10 consulting firms worldwide. Prior to EDS, he was Managing Partner of Coopers and Lybrand LLP's New York region consulting group. Mr. Gleason is the CEO of the management consulting firm Greater Yield, and currently serves on the board of ACS Communications, Inc.

Dan Jones
Dan Jones most recently served as Managing Partner for the Dallas office of Tatum LLC and as a member of its Management Committee. Under his leadership, the Dallas office of Tatum grew to over 65 professionals and was Tatum’s number one office in terms of both revenues and profits. In his numerous CFO roles, Mr. Jones has experience in IPO’s, mergers and acquisitions, asset dispositions and strategic planning, in addition to traditional finance and accounting responsibilities. He has extensive experience in retailing, real estate, direct mail and consumer credit operations and has also owned his own financial services business.

Prior to joining Tatum CFO, Mr. Jones served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of United Investors Realty Trust (NASDAQ - UIRT) in Houston, Texas. In his role as Consultant/CFO, his primary contributions included completing a successful $86 million IPO in March 1998 and the negotiation of a $56 million bridge loan.

Prior to UIRT, Mr. Jones worked as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for South West Property Trust (NYSE - SWP) in Dallas, Texas. SWP was an NYSE multifamily REIT that owned and managed 15,000 apartments in the Southwest. In his capacity as CFO, he played an integral part in the successful merger of South West with United Dominion Realty Trust (NYSE - UDR) and oversaw all financial and public company reporting aspects of the company. Mr. Jones was also active in the negotiation of several major asset-based financings at SWP.

Prior to working with SWP, Mr. Jones served as either CFO or COO of several privately owned businesses in Texas. He also spent 20 years in the retail industry, holding CFO positions at Dayton’s, Sanger Harris and Macy’s.

Mr. Jones holds a B.S. in Accounting from Virginia Commonwealth University and has been a licensed CPA in Texas and Virginia.
