Pearson Partners International Expands Dallas Office
Firm Appoints New VPs - Rowe and Kies

DALLAS, TEXAS, August 5, 2002 - Pearson Partners International, Inc., a global executive search firm, has expanded its headquarters in Dallas by naming William D. Rowe II and Gerri L. Kies to its team as Vice Presidents.

Rowe is the former managing director of the Dallas practice of Foster Partners, a global retained executive search firm. Prior to joining Foster Partners in 1993, Rowe gained retained search experience at a global level while working for Paul Ray Berndtson as a research analyst. Before that, Rowe provided market research and competitive analysis information to determine market vibrancy for de novo bank formations for a banking services company in Atlanta, Georgia. Rowe holds a BA in history from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.

Kies joins Pearson Partners International from Kenzer Corp. Prior to entering the retained search industry, Kies served as vice president of human resources for American Trucksource International. She held the same post at NationsCredit and was regional HR director for Montgomery Ward and regional HR manager for Pepsico's former subsidiary, KFC. She earned a BBA from Austin College and a JD from South Texas College of Law.
